Turning inspiration into production: a practical workflow
By Kiana Bluecher and The WAALEE Team · · 5 min read
Inspiration is cheap; execution is where projects stall. The distance between a reference you love and a page you ship is usually a pile of small, undocumented decisions. Here's how to collapse it.
The path
- Collect 2–3 references whose feel matches your goal.
- Extract each into a system and compare — the overlap is your direction.
- Assemble a working set of tokens: palette, type scale, spacing, components.
- Generate prompts and rebuild with your AI tool, section by section.
- Export the tokens so the next page starts from the same source of truth.
Ship, then compound
The first page is the expensive one. Once your system is captured, every page after it inherits the same look for free — which is exactly how brands stay consistent as they scale.
