Vibe coding is great — until it needs to look designed

Lovable, v0, Bolt, and Claude will give you a working app in an afternoon. What they won't reliably give you is taste. The default output has a recognizable look: safe spacing, stock component styling, a palette that's technically fine and completely forgettable.

Generic is a tokens problem

The reason AI output looks generic is that the model has no opinion about your brand. It's optimizing for "correct," not "considered." Give it a concrete design system — real colors, a real type scale, real component rules — and the same model produces something that looks like a decision was made.

Borrow a system, then make it yours

Find three sites whose feel you admire, extract their systems, and use them as constraints — not to clone, but to raise the floor. Your AI builder stops guessing and starts building inside a coherent look.
